This Song is Many a Man’s Plea. Why?
(btw, I have a weakness for boys who sing like this!)
More Than Words
By Frankie J
Saying I Love You Is Not The Words I Want To Hear From You.
Its Not That I Want You Not To Say, But If You Only Knew How Easy It Would Be To Show Me How You Feel.More Than Words Is All You Have To Do To Make It Real.
Then You Wouldn’t Have To Say That You Love Me, Cause I’d Already Know. What Would You Do If My Heart Was Torn In Two?
More Than Words To Show You Feel That Your Love For Me Is Real?
What Would You Say If I Took Those Words Away?
Then You Couldn’t Make Things New, Just By Saying I Love You.Now That I’ve Tried To Talk To You And Make You Understand,
All You Have To Do Is Close Your Eyes And Just Reach Out Your Hand And Touch Me.
Hold Me Close. Don’t Ever Let Me GoMore Than Words Is All I Ever Needed You To Show.
Then You Wouldn’t Have To Say That You Love Me, Cause I’d Already Know.
If there’s one thing I know I love about men, it’s this: More action. Less talk.
And more often than not, what they say is exactly what they mean.
More women tend to suffer from the “people-pleasing syndrome” that makes their talk less sincere, less what they really mean, and more about what they think a man wants to hear.
I’m writing this because my coworker is dealing with these types of women.
They say one thing: I want to be with you.
But their actions say the opposite: I don’t want to be with you as much as I let on.
I think the disconnect is that a lot of the times women just have a hard time disappointing people and saying “no.”
Ever heard that saying, “Men love bitches?”
Maybe the appeal is that a “bitch” isn’t a people-pleaser.
When she says yes, she means it.
The guy might hear a “no” more often from her, but at least what comes out of her mouth is truthful and direct.
To the point.
No candy coating.
That kind of woman is refreshing when most women carry on the disease of people-pleasing.
We can learn something from them!
I think this song is all about showing your love to a man not through words, but through actions.
