On another side note, during the break I turned 27. After the break I moped around for a couple of days at work with “post-birthday blues.” Ever get that? I think everyone between the age of 25-30 gets them.

It’s the realization that you’re one year older and yet it doesn’t feel like you’re any closer to being who you want to be, achieving what you want to achieve.

It’s a reminder that the dreaded 3-0 is fastly approaching.

It’s the feeling of loss– because time is something that we can never get back, and the older we get, the less of it we have.

But then… people made me smile:

• I have the best coworkers in the world. And oddly enough, my (male) boss comes armed with the best chocolates in the world. Perfect for yesterday’s whiny, self-indulgent, it’s-all-about-me-boo-hoo day. He brought Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark. White chocolate. Milk chocolate. crushed peppermint. Yum. Birthday? What birthday?




• An ex I only have great memories of is recently single and making an attempt to reconnect! (I’ll post about it!)
