I totally agree. My last bf and I got along really well, and had a lot in common, but we never found each other funny, and never really “played” together. We’re still great friends, but I couldn’t bear to be with him again because of the lack of passion.

I can relate. I dated a guy who was so right in many ways, but looking back at our relationship, I don’t remember us ever laughing together. I think it’s important to be with someone who you can be silly with. He was kind of a dark cloud, cynical, pessimistic, and dramatic… I tried to imagine what my life would look like in the future with him, and I didn’t like what I saw!

Totally right! This is so important. Its right up there with a great sex life as critical elements of a successful relationship.
